At Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek School of Wisconsin, we have created a welcoming, engaging, and supportive environment where children feel excited to learn Greek. Our goal is to make every class enjoyable while helping students build confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the Greek language.
One of the greatest compliments we receive is that our students look forward to coming to class. Learning from the comfort of home allows children to feel relaxed, participate actively, and enjoy learning alongside friends from across the United States.

Our classes meet twice each week for 60 minutes per session, beginning shortly after Labor Day and continuing through Memorial Day. Classes are held after regular school hours, making it easy for families to fit Greek into their weekly routine.
Each summer, we carefully organize class schedules to best accommodate our families, and students follow a consistent schedule throughout the school year.
Our academic calendar includes:

One of the greatest strengths of our program is the frequency of instruction.
Children are exposed to the Greek language multiple times each week through:
This consistent exposure helps students retain what they learn, develop stronger communication skills, and make steady progress throughout the school year.
Because students can join class from home, they are less likely to miss instruction due to transportation or scheduling challenges, allowing them to maintain continuity in their learning.

Every child begins with a placement evaluation so we can ensure they are enrolled in the class that best matches their needs.
We consider:
Whenever possible, we create classes with students of similar ages, proficiency levels, and learning styles, allowing every child to feel comfortable, challenged, and supported.

Our curriculum combines internationally recognized instructional materials with engaging digital resources to provide a comprehensive learning experience.
We use:
Students develop skills in:

Learning Greek means much more than learning words.
Throughout the school year, students explore:
These experiences help students develop a meaningful connection to their language and heritage while making learning enjoyable and memorable.

Our lessons are designed to keep students actively engaged.
Children learn through:
Every lesson encourages students to communicate, participate, and build confidence in a fun and supportive environment.

Our program welcomes students from Kindergarten through high school, with instruction carefully adapted to each developmental stage.
As students progress through the program, they continue building their language skills and, when appropriate, may begin preparation for the Ellinomatheia Greek Language Certification examinations.
Our goal is to help every student continue their Greek language journey with confidence, whether they are learning for family, heritage, travel, or future academic opportunities.

Although our school is entirely virtual, our students quickly become part of a vibrant learning community. They build friendships, celebrate Greek traditions together, and encourage one another throughout the school year.
We believe that children learn best when they feel connected, supported, and excited to participate—and we are proud to have created a program where students enjoy coming to class each week.
